I have a 69' omega speedmaster pre moon i recently purchased. Was driving one day with my hand near the aircondition of my car then i noticed that it fogged inside the glass. I put the watch in a warm area ( on top of my coffee) then the fog disappears but as soon as i wear it it forms back again.

fogging is quite common in these older speedmasters, (because they often have not been serviced) and it is easy to do. Water can come in via the crown tube, the pushers and the case back often doesn't have the gasket fitted. Your body heat is warming up the watch causing condensation on the inside. This can only mean that there is a leak somewhere allowing moisture to get in, either near the crown or the crystal. I would recommend taking it to a professional as only they will be able to completely dehumidify the watch and perhaps fix the leak. I’ve been super busy and haven’t noticed that my omega speedmaster had been fogging up with condensation. What is my move her to minimize damage. I hope Omega resolves the problem for your SMP as soon as possible. Its cool. In general, i pretty much realistic that no watch is infallible, and its very possible it just leaked. It can and does happen. My other SMPc was bullet-proof, and so is my Speedy Pro. Im not worried.

Hi, I bough few days ago Omega Seamaster from 1998 via Chrono24 from certified seller. I received pack few days ago and now I opened the watch. At first sight everything was fine, but after I unscrewed the crown to set the time the glass became foggy. What does it mean?
