I don't see much difference with Phong. As for the movement, Phong has 2 versions, a very high grade V727 and a lower grade V727. Not sure if the 6.5k usd is for the high grade or low grade. So, why do you guys prefer the Cousins 302's vs Phong/MQ 301? Attached the MKI's from MQ. A high grade dial from MQ is about 7-8 while a gen is 10. So while a DW dial is decent and better than Cartel it's not Great. I wouldn't beat yourself up trying to get a DW.
One main thing that determines how close a repdial is to original is how close the cliché plate is to the genuine dial to start with. I've got my beautiful 6265 franken Phong based, with gen Sigma black dial. Got a reply from MQ. Now his dials are for the gen Rolex movements and not for others.
