I don’t get much use out of it because it definitely needs the right outfit and occasion to carry. The flap closure does make it a little difficult to get stuff in and out so it is not an everyday bag for sure. I think a studded medium calfskin version (not a lambskin one) is what meets your needs the most. The studs aren't too out there at all, nor too flashy. It's also the style that got your attention.
But I think the reception to that collection was positive which is why Dior are doubling down on the studs - there's this version, and there's a Zodiac variant on a black small Lady Dior which is really glorious. I just saw the new glazed leather version and it is so beautiful. The studs are refreshing, too, especially for Dior. Galliano's team did studs on the Lady Dior, too, but it was still the very structured classic version which may have lacked a "relaxed" vibe. Her team introduced smooth calfskin versions of the structured Lady Dior bag, too . I have a medium studded Lady Dior in a pretty soft white and love wearing it in winter. I've attached a photo of my bag with a winter vest, hat and Burberry scarf so you can see how white works with winter clothing.
