Now that I've worn it quite a bit i'm starting to see some scratches on the bezel and case (mostly bezel) and was wondering if there is an option in the future to replace the 226570 Bezel to a brand new Bezel if the day ever arises.

Here's the candidate for a little TLC, a fairly beaten Rolex Explorer II bezel. You'll see that there's lots of surface scratches, some fairly deep dings, the edges have lot of nibbles and the paint is faded and worn away in places.

The bezel: first pop it off, if you look closely at the bottom edge (against the case) of it, you should find a slight open area where a blade can be wedged in and levered so that the bezel can be pryed off. Some tape on the case will avoid any scratches. Then place a scotchbrite green pad on the table and place the bezel upside down onto the pad. Received my Rolex Explorer ii 16550 back from service. Along with servicing the movement, the watch maker did a repaint, but because the bezel has some nicks, I noticed a few places the black paint got in and looked a bit rushed overall.

You should see my 42mm Explorer II and the scratches it has on both the band (scraping when I work on a computer/dining out, table scratches) and the sides/bezel. I love it. I actually never really cared about the scratches since day one straight out of the AD!
