I am close to picking up a Zenith daytona and looking at various examples it struck me -- from the factory, are the crown side lugs not the same shape as the lugs on the other side (ie, the crown side lugs are noticably skinnier)?
On the discontinued 1165xx Daytonas SS YG and TT all share the same asymmetrical, thin case, with curves and flush endlinks. All the full bracelets WG RG and Platona share the same symetrical, beefier case with larger crownguards and endlinks that are not flush.
