It took quite some time for me to convince him that it was a "feature". Use the “contact us” form on the Omega site. They will send you a travel case for the watch and pre-paid label to the nearest servicing facility. Most likely the threading on the screw/tube has worn away, which probably means it’s about time for a service anyway. I am unable to unscrew the crown of my Omega Seamaster midsize (2551.80), does anyone have the same problem? Should I force it? And much would it cost if I bring it to get it fix professionally?

Philippe, pls... Step One: unscrew the crown. Turn the case over. Turn the crown until the split stem faces up. Wriggle a bit and hope, everything comes out . A few gentle blows with your hand at the case bottom might help. If not , grab the crown and pull firm until the split stem separates. I have an Omega Seamaster 300m Chrono. On July 1st around 9:30am I proceeded to change my date from June 30th, to July 1st. As I did this, the date seem to get stuck on the 31st.
