I became aware of this product when installing a new TREMEC 5-speed transmission in my 1964 Corvette. The TREMEC warranty is good only if this fluid is used. Thus, one might assume that any Dexron III ATF compatible fluid can be used in the TR6060. These are now mostly full synthetic. It is noted that Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF is Dexron III H compatible (the latest spec) and is said to have been used successfully in various TR6060 equipped cars over the last ten years. Talk to the guys that are bathed in ATF all day!!! They are the ones that know first hand, what the REAL story is, inside your 6L80!!! Service writers are mostly IDIOTS!! Not ALL of em, just the ones without gray/silver hair!!!!!FWIW, I change ATF in my other auto cars (Not my 6MT of course!!) every 15K!!!!
