The strap on the Bloomsbury is 43" at the longest setting. I wear it at the third longest hole which is about 40". I'm 5'6" and long waisted. Worn cross-body, it hits me at the hip, which is where I want it to be. Maybe someone with a South Beach can measure the strap for comparison. Yes, I’ll measure my strap tonight.

I plan to wear it crossbody rather than on the shoulder. How ever the new one is also pretty. Am now having a look at graceful mm. Does it makes sense to have both of these bags? I hadn’t used my Bloomsbury pm in over a year and contemplated consigning it but decided to bring it out for a trip to Disney and it’s been the perfect bag. Fits a good amount without being bulky. I know the leather is super soft and I've barely used it so I'm not sure. To store it, I tuck the strap in the bag with the zipper fully unzipped and have it in the dustbag the whole time.
