The Aerospace becomes the E56059 for all-titanium or F56059 for bi-colour titanium & gold. The "56" refers to the B56 quartz movement, Breitling's reference number for their use of the ETA 988. Initially the new model reference is stamped on . currently i have an aerospace (352) and am strongly considering the new b&r (333). when i first purchased the aerospace i dropped it and broke the alarm function. breitling fixed it, no problem, but got me thinking perhaps b&r .Movement Type: Quartz. Base Movement: ETA 988.332. Battery/Life: 399/3-4 Years. Complications: Perpetual Calendar, Dual Timezone, Chronograph. The movement in the watch could be an ETA - not a proprietary Breitling movement. Breitling refused to repair/replace an older Miyota Y652 quartz movement on an Intruder (1998 - 1999 vintage). Check out the availability of new or used ETAs as required if your (prospective) watch should need one.
The ETA caliber 988.333 is a quartz powered ani-digi movement with 7 jewels. It is Swiss made and is part of ETA’s Flatline family, however, this caliber is no longer listed in their current lineup.

I have recently taken in 2 Breitling aerospace sin for movement changes. One has an ETA 310.351 and the other has an ETA 310.391. Am I right in assuming that the replacement movement for these is the ETA 988.332?Breitling version of the ETA 988.352 Thermoline movement. Upgraded to SuperQuartz spec and chronometer rated.
