I have recently acquired a Rolex Submariner Date 16610 (pre-ceramic) and would like to fit a Nato strap. Colour wise I would like for try and find an olive or army green strap that is thin and good quality. Does anyone have any recommendations brand wise and also any pics would be great!
For those of you who have bought or closely inspected the new Rolex Submariner Date 116610LN (Ceramic), what is your impression of the build quality of the watch? In particular, with respect to the bracelet and clasp, which IMHO were the Achilies heel of the previous model.
This is an extremely high quality NATO strap too that retails for 40 bucks. Just an amazing look to the watch, I think. The older subs just (basically without the ceramic) for some reason look so much better on straps to me. Newer ones seem out of place on almost all straps. I love the look on leather but the case chews into thick leather straps as the spring bars sit in close to the case. I'm not keen on NATOs on this watch (I usually like them) so I'm considering a fitted rubber strap (maybe RubberB).
