To me, the 41mm looks fine on you and the 37mm looks too small. The 15500 does wear a bit larger though due to the shorter hour markers, which make the dial look a bit emptier. Try on a 15400 or a 15510 if possible - overall size is the same, but they will visually feel different due to the dial configurations. Maybe a smooth bezel/oyster combo with a sportier look would have worked better in 41mm, but the DJ41 looked way too big on my 7" wrist. and I regularly wear 44mm watches.
